Reply on Reddit without getting banned

Accounts get banned on Reddit for behavior the community can see: the same pitch pasted into unrelated threads, a new account that only mentions one product, votes that show up in a burst, and comments that ignore a subreddit's promotion rule. The fix is not a second account that does the same thing.

Read the rule before the draft

Many communities allow a relevant reply and remove a post whose only purpose is the link. Those are different actions. A reply that answers the question can mention what you build. A post titled with your product, dropped into a sub that forbids promotion, will be removed and may ban you. No draft changes that rule.

Post from the account that will stand behind it

If you would not say the sentence under your own name, do not publish it under a rented one. Warmed accounts and bought upvotes are a market. Ten careful replies in a week is a practice. Ten replies in an hour, all pointing at the same URL, is a campaign. Space them out, skip threads where you are not the right person to answer, and mark those skipped so you are not tempted tomorrow.
