Privacy policy

This policy describes what CollectIntent collects when you use collectintent.com and the product inbox. CollectIntent does not sell personal information.

Account data

Sign-in uses Google through Firebase Authentication. We receive the account's email address, display name, and a user id. You can sign out at any time. To delete an account, email collectintentapp@gmail.com.

Product data

Projects store the site URL and description you submit, the subreddits and keywords you watch, inbox state such as done or skipped, and reply drafts. To build that inbox we fetch public Reddit posts and comments that match the project. That Reddit text is content other people published. We use it to show matches to the account that configured the project.

Free tools

The buyer-intent analyzer runs in your browser and does not upload the pasted post. The Reddit mention tracker and subreddit finder send the search query to our server so we can ask Reddit for recent public results. We rate-limit those searches. We do not require an account to use the free tools.

Analytics and advertising

We use PostHog for product analytics, including which public page was opened. Mention and subreddit searches store the query, how many results came back, and whether the search was rate-limited. A buyer-intent score stores the score, the signal names, and the length of the paste, not the post text. When you are signed in, events can include your email address and display name so we can tell accounts apart. We store ad campaign parameters from the landing URL in the browser for the session.

In production the site loads the Meta Pixel, which can receive a page view and, after you sign in, an email address so ad measurement can match a visit to an account. The pixel is not loaded in local development.

Billing

Subscriptions are processed by RevenueCat. We store the plan and entitlement status needed to unlock the inbox. We do not store full payment-card numbers on CollectIntent servers.

AI agents

If you connect an MCP client, that client can read projects, signals, leads, and mentions for your account, and mark items handled. It cannot post to Reddit or change billing. Access lasts until you disconnect the client or revoke the key.
